Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / Goat standing left, head turned right, suckling the infant Zeus. SNG von Aulock -; SNG Copenhagen -; BMC Phrygia p. 40, 121. Although little is known of the city of Aezanis, it must have claimed some connection with Amaltheia, the she-goat (font face=symbol>aiz which nursed the infant Zeus hidden from his father Saturn.
